Hi,i am planning to buy a genuine 1977 fl 1200. The only concern is the engine stamping ,i have been told harley did not list the fl between 1974 to 1977 for the civilian market and earlier bikes had 7H as the first stamping for FLH 1200 POLICE. This bike has all the correct police lights,siren.bags and windshield and the code on it is 1A27972H7 which makes it a 1977 bike. I have read that harley police motors were given the designation FL in the mid seventies so would this make it a genuine police model? Any info would be appreciated regards Dave
