i also have a 74. Mine was painted by a previous owner and it is a turquoise that has a deep sparkle finish. I do not know if this is a standard color for the year but i was told that it was not harley paint but rather a caddalic car color. that might be the answer in that there was perhaps no turquoise for the painter to buy from harley. i am also looking for various plaaces to see orginal paint jobs as mine is up for a new paint soon. any help would be helpfull.
