Save the knees and breathe some life back into that old bagger. Trikes are becoming more and more popular as the days go by and as the aging demographic seeks to remain “in the wind” there is no doubt that there will be more companies that will be producing the conversion kits and or accessories for the kits. This conversion is a combination of higher end components, with the base of it being a “Gladiator” kit from Motor Trike Inc., a well-established firm that has been producing kits for over twenty years. This kit is part of their “IRS” (independent rear suspension) line and has become somewhat of a benchmark in the industry. The ability to “lean” into the turns has been addressed and proven to be very satisfactory to the target market. The company also offers many options and upgrades to their kits, including billet wheels, raked out triple tree, mechanical reverse gear, and “soft” parts for protection and comfort to name a few. This machine has been outfitted with all of the aforementioned items as well as a several more cosmetic and creature comforts. The installation of the 3-wheeler was performed by DND Trikes in Summerland BC in early 2014 and the mileage accumulated since then is very minimal. This trike started out as a top of the line Ultra classic that had very low miles on it for the year and was an exceptionally clean, well maintained, and handsomely accented machine. Even prior to the conversion, the overall condition was excellent visually and mechanically. It is apparent that this machine has enjoyed a pride of ownership and a meticulous concern for the condition of the bike. The vast majority of the accessories that adorn this bike are genuine Harley Davidson which is indicative of the concern shown. Overall the machine presents itself in the photographs as being in excellent condition, and will no doubt be a joy to ride. Respectfully Submitted. |
