Sewing machine type noise/tick

Sewing machine type noise/tick

Noticed I have a tick when I’m on the throttle or let off but if I’m at idle or pull the clutch the noise stops but grab the throttle and it picks up not in noise but n speed it picks up. Read several things and forums of people saying it’s normal for the air cooled engines. Any info?
