I have a 97 flhtcui. I also have many lights and things on the bike. I never had a problem, but now what i have going on, the alt gauge drops when sitting at a stop with the brakes on. When we drive away the bike will act up.....light flash, engine miss.....and then we need to stop and turn bike off and restart.

this seemed to have started after having a new stator installed......i was told to add a battery......., but why now...never had that before..
