81 FLTC Front Blinkers - Can´t mount

I just bought my first Harley an 81 Tour Glide. The blinker lights are laying loose inside the fairing. I can feel the hole where they mount inside the fairing, but can´t figure out how to get them to stay in place. Can anyone help?
