Air Suspension PSI? |

Looking for the correct / maximum psi suggested for the rear suspension? My manual says there is a air valve behind / under the right saddle bag. I am not seeing 1 there. There is an air line but it looks like it runs across to the left side where there is an air valve just in front of the left saddle bag on the fiberglass cover. Is this the only fitting for the rear suspension? The reason I´m asking is the manual says max 20 psi for that fitting and up to 60 psi for the one that is supposed to be behind the right saddle bag, (which I can´t see for the life of me after removing the bag). I don´t want to overfill but I´d like more than 20 psi in the back if possible. I´m a big guy 280 lbs and ride 2 up most of the time, her 150 lbs, plus we often tie a travel bag on the luggage rack, leathers etc in the bags...I could use the extra air if within specs of the system? I run just under 20 psi in the front with the air valve on the left handle bar grip, no problem. |
