| Did not see year but its a softail right? Did you at least get to sit on it? i bought a 95 recently and the forward controls are almost out of my 6 ft reach. I have an E84 FXWG and the controls are just right. The softail in catalogs have a part for each side that will bring the controls closer for about 400 bucks! The frame also has very little clearance and cannot get a lift under it without standing bike up and wedging lift in which is tricky. Sounds like there is some reason being unsaid to keep you from the bike. i say keep shopping. |
