Yeah I bought my 1200R new and now in 2008....4 yrs later the starter is starting to go. Guess it just wears out over time got about 15,000 miles on it....still love it, goes 120mph without vibration or speed wobbles. good for an old 55 year old broad. :o) Ms. Traci
