Well, it´s a matter of economics. If you can afford the rubber mount then go for it, but if it´s that big of a concern you´re probably better off getting an ´03-´05 Dyna or something similar. It´s rubber mounted and fuel injected. But the vibration of the ´02 sporty is not bad, if you´re on the highway ridding long distances, you´re moving at such a speed that the vibration is a non issue. I´ve ridden from my home in West Palm Beach, Fl to Tallahassee, Fl; an eight hour ride, but man is it beautiful! I don´t think you will have a problem with the bike. I´m 5´10\
