I just bought a pristine 05 XLC 1200 with under 3k miles. I can´t find the color anywhere. I was told it was a limited release. It is two -tone with black and a metallic orange with gold pinstriping and a fancy tank decal.Very sharp.I was also told that only about 700 Harleys received this paint in 05. Anyone know anything about the # of 1200s , the actual color name , etc.? The fellow paid $10,900 plus shipping and prep , for it with security system,12,000 plus 700 in tax or 12,700 out the door, so the paint must have cost extra. He said his dealer only got one 1200 and two other bikes this color in 05 and all sold in a day. I can find no reference to this color anywhere.
