I bought a 1996 1200 Sporster and it has a pecking noise in the top in of the rear cylender. When I bought the bike it had been kept in a garage and not run since 2001. It will only peck after the motor gets up to operating Temp. You can shut if off for about 5min. and start it up again and will stop pecking and run it for afew min. and start pecking again. I was just wordering if it just has some trash in it. I changed the oil but didn´t help. Thanks.
