The 1998 1200C pictured is my bike. It is now sporting fresh new all black paint and 18" apes, which gives the bike an old school look. About the only thing still stock on this bike are the down tubes, tranny and clutch, the motor has been stroked out to 89" (an S&S kit)with a 180 rear tire. The Hurst forward controls rock and the open rear pully is a cool custom look I haven´t seen on any other sporty. Yes it is fast and way fun to ride, the front tire has no problem coming off the ground in the first three gears! Tops out at about 86hp on the Dyno, I´m sure I could get more out of it but I´m no wrench. If you want to do this to your sporty plan on spending about 7 grand and that´s just in parts. I wouldn´t do it again but I wouldn´t sell it either.
