hello,i have a 1990 xlr1200 [american spec with mag wheels],bought last summer for a decent price but had to have work done on it as the headgaskets were weeping which resulted in a skimming job ,and also had to fit a new regulator as the charging system was on total loss ,the bloke i bought it off was in the services so unfortunately he neglected it as he was doing his job .so now ive got it mechanically reliable and cant wait to see the warm weather for some cruising ,i have a question-every now and then it feels like the clutch is slipping even though the clutch is fine with plenty of adjustment to go as is the drive belt and i changed the trans-oil just after i bought the bike ,anyhow it would to hear from other 1200 owners keep the faith cheers ken.
