Just bought my Baby last Sunday (4OCT15). Been riding all week getting acquainted. Last Thursday, Starter took a %&#!¤. Looked bike over, didn´t seem took difficult, pull primary cover, swap out starter. Pulled all bolts, loosened big bolt on bottom, still couldn´t get primary cover off. Ain´t like my ole 51 Panhead, pop bolts, primary comes off. This my first Sportster, different animal. What´s the process for pullin the primary cover off a Sportster. Payin $100 an hour for labor a The Hawg Shop for a easy fix just makes no sense to me. HELP!!!
