| Greetings Fellow Roadster Owners, I have been searching for the horsepower of the 2008 Roadster. I used to own a 2005 XL1200R and found several sites that list the horsepower of the 2005 and 2006 at 70hp and 79 ft/lbs torque. My search has not turned up any results for the hp rating of the fuel injected 2007 and 2008 models. Can anyone provide a link to a website with that information? The ´standard´ 1200 cc H-D engine produces 59 hp but, because of the high flow heads and more radical cams, the carburetor equipped XL1200R has the higher output. My guess is that the fuel injected Roadster engine produces the same 70 hp and 79 ft/lbs torque but that information is elusive. Thank you, Sam |
