Sportster a aren´t girl bikes. How you ride is another story. I´m 21 and bought my first bike as a present to myself. I own an 05 1200c, and am in the process of bobbing it. I´ve had a plethora of compliments, and my friends who ride give me a bar time on occasion. But so far I haven´t raced a bike I couldn´t take, all of them bigger than mine. I definately reccome d a sportster for your first bike. It´s great for learning, and once you have some experience riding, they are fun as all hell to ride. I take turns like its cool.
