The Sportster (any model) is not H-D´s best touring bike by any means, although I recently took a 2000 mile trip on an XLCH outfitted with a small windscreen and small leather bags. The trip was fun, and I didn´t feel too uncomfortable but then I´ve ridden some UJM bikes about the same distance (I definitely don´t want to do that again). The bike isn´t for \
