Hello every one I am hopping some one out there can help me with an issue I am having with my sportster . I have an odd skip or slip in first gear. It’s almost like you are grabbing clutch really quick for a split second. It will do it under all load conditions and only in first gear none of the other gears are affected. I was sure that it was an obvious Trans problem so I pulled my engine figured I would fix the Trans issue and freshen up the engine at the same time. So when I got it opened the whole thing looked to be in great shape. There was some minor what looked like normal wear in first gear nothing looking any different then any other gear. One trust washer was about 1000 of an inch thinner than the rest but other then that it looked like new money. I replaced the trust washer and rebuilt the engine, But the problem is still there any one have any Ideas? If you do would love to hear them kdl39@hotmail.com |
