hey, how r u? good decision on the bike,, these old Yami´s are really incredible machines for their age. As for your questions, what do you mean by RPM range, do you mean to shift at, what it should be idleing at? and as for the colour. i´ve seen alot of different verions or mods of this bike. i´m particularily fond of the stock pearl white with red accents and navybluish writing, red fenders. only body mods i would go for would be to upgrade the body to a newer year. or to leave it naked. either way it still looks great. anyways get back to me on the RPM thing if you havnt gotten an answer, another suggestion))) buy a copy of the rapair manual for the bike, most useful accessory i ever bought for it, comes in handy and save alot of money at the mechanic... take care
