Japanese domestic model GSXR750 1985

Japanese domestic model GSXR750 1985

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the differance between a japanese domestic model which was rated at 77hp due to japenese hp restriction laws and the export version which had 106hp. was it just carburation or was pistons and cams also
