looking for some advise on my xl600lmf its a very clean bike and hasnt been messed about with at all, the bike starts and runs fine every time, but when im going over a certain rev, there is a massive flat spot. i originally thought this was a carb isssue, but i took them apart cleaned them and raised the needle one notch (onto the very bottom notch) to see if more fuel to the high rev carb would make a difference but it didnt, well it might have pulled a little better but problem still there so i put it back, am i looking at a electrical thing here? any advise would be appreciated. i dont see how giving it more fuel would fix it when it must of been running as it is fine at some point. so it pulls fine up to a point then just flat, if i open it right up it dies, if i accelerate very slowly it pulls, and if you make it through tthe flat spot it starts pulling again just in time for the red line ha ha. cheers, scott
