How difficult would it be to change the top end gaskets on this bike? I´m not familiar with bikes, but I have been working on Jeeps for some time now. I assume it would be no more difficult than changing a head gasket, but before I get in over my head, thought I´d check with y´all. The bike is leaking oil out what seems to be primarily some bad o-rings. It is a 20 year old bike with 18k miles and sat for some time, so it doesn´t seem unfeasible that the rubber would have gone bad. The exhaust doesn´t smoke so I assume the rings are in good enough shape. Hoping new gaskets will seal it all back up.
Also, what is the best source for technical info on this bike, i.e. torque specs and maintenance instructions? I´ve seen manuals from Haynes, Chilton, and Clymer. I know in comparison to Jeep FSMs Chiltons and Haynes suck, and I´m completely unfamiliar with Clymer. But I have yet to locate an actual Factory Service Manual from Honda regarding this application, or any application for that matter.
