Hi,I have just completed installing a windshield on a 1985 FLHTC with the plastic dash cluster bezel. Not wanting a handle bar shield I found that a stock quick disconnect road king shield will work nicely. The polished stock stainless brackets require trimming of the slotted mounting holes as they will now be entirely shown. This will be tig welded to a 12 gauge stainless steel flat plate and can be polished. The new plate is 1.5 x 7.625 with the hole pattern of your spotlight mount. The weld is on the edge of your spotlight bracket and polished it blends nicely.I did not want mine removable, but you can improvise if desired. Good luck,Rick
