I installed a clibrated temp gauge in the tank, and got a true 250 degrees at 80 mph,I installed a B&M tranny cooler and the temp dropped to 160 in the tank,is this too cool,I do not know what the optimum temp is at the tank?I know that the MOBIL 1 synthetic I run is good, but what temp is the heads getting?Am I too cold? Nobody seems to really know the true or desirable temps are and where?
