I bought one of these new in ´79, I was coming off a ´77 GS 750. It was a revelation! At the time, it was the apex of the UJM. The dealer I got it from in Phx. said that there were only 500 imported to the U.S. that first year. I won several AFM and ARRA Production races is SoCal on it. I sold it when I got orders to Okinawa (to the drummer for The Tubes!), wish I had kept it. Found another one for sale last year, mostly original with 11K mi. Bad corrosion though. Got it back on the road a couple of weeks ago and it is still AWESOME! |
