I have been having my own XS250 for 27years.
I think I can be going to give you some information about XS250 for you.
Please forgive me I´m not good at english.

First of all, XS250 is not a fast motorcycle.
But, the engine is so tough and reliable for the age.
And I love exhaust sound of this. You will love it,too.
However, you need a basic maintenance work because it is a old one.
I do almost all maintenance by myself to keep my XS250 in good condition.
I think you can easily get the parts for maintenance than you think.

It is written in Japanese, so you will not understand what I wrote, but also have many pictures at that site.
I wonder it will be some help to maintain your XS.
