I have had my 650 special for about 9 months now.
i took it to a couple of guys who happen to be the only guys in my area who work on older bikes.

they cleaned out the engine for me and fixed a few loose bolts, and it cost me over $700
so I have decided to take it upon myself to put the work in myself.
To the problem, when i come to a stop sign or light the bike starts making a high pitched noise, it sounds like the generator, so that was my first guess but i really dont know.
If you have any info about what it is and the necisary parts to fix it, it would be much apreciated.
