Greetings! I bought a 750 Special on the day before Thanksgiving, and it´s sweeeeeeet!

I live in the Adirondack mountains and there are loads of great roads and scenic miles up here to cruise. We are fanatical hikers/climbers, avid kayakers, and I was looking for something fun that required no work! It was either boat or motorcycle. An easy decision after I thought about it after a few drinks.

This is my first cycle in about 15 yrs. A `1979 Red 750 Special. Oddly enuff, my last wheels were a ´78 750 Special and THIS ONE is in better shape 20 yrs later. Original owner, always garaged, lucky timing, yada yada and I end up with it. Life is good.

If I may pose 2 questions?
- I noticed that the rear tire is rubbing on the drive shaft housing. From the mark on the tire, it´s obvious that this is brand new - like maybe when I trailer´d it home? Bouncing around a little maybe? So, the question is how to adjust and is it a real big deal w/aligning the drive shaft just right?

- Only thing missing was the manual. Clymers are much less, correct? anyone think they´re good/bad/whatever?

Thanks much for any help.
Happy Trails
