I just bought an xs1100s fixer upper. I plan to go through the whole bike before I ride it. I had a new 78 and loved it. Most importantly I´m going to add a fork brace and balance the air pressure in the forks to the proper specifications. I´ve heard recently that too much air causes the fork fluid to foam up and reduce the efficiency of the fork operation. Any new ideas on forks? My new 78 had a high speed wobble that got me twice only in 10,000 miles, but man was that scary! Looking forward to gabbing on this comment line. |
