New here! 1972 XLCH total rebuild in progress

Starting quite a project. It started with a recently purchased 1972 XLCH Sportster that after the first 100 miles shut down at normal driving speed. I quickly realized this bike was neglected a bit before me. Turned out the rod bearing about seized on me. I since removed the engine piece by piece. Sent the flywheel and jugs to a machinist and got new rods, rod bearings, pistons/ rings, fresh bore on heads and a completely new valve job. Also kept going....clutch plates, all new motor bolts, stainless hoses, powder coating the frame and swing arm....THE WORKS. I was going to go for the electric start but the kick start is the PERSONALITY of the bike. It should look sweet when all is done.
