My 1st harley was a Sportster. It was either a 1978 or a 1979 I think 79. It was like a limited edition model or somthing of the like . I only had it one year and then sold it (mistake). I had no time to ride it. I do remember it a decal on the tank and it was 1 of maybe 2000 bikes produced with that paticular paint scheme. ( No it was #1 of 2000 , it was 1 of the 2000 or so produced). Anyway I was pretty young at the time and today can not find any pictures of it. The paint was a very dark maroon ,it looked black except for when it was in the sun then the dark marroon would appear. Over top of that was a flame scheme. It started with maybe blue and faded to green into yellow and red with some purple as well i think. Does anybody know what I am talking about? Or know a place where I could ask the same question and get a place to download some pictures. I have searched the internet and have not found any pictures or web sites to help me except this one.
