Joe, If you can find it, in american Iron mag from Aug 2002 there is an article of electric start in the Xlch. Its not as difficult as it seems. Apparently there is room without to many changes. XCLH came after the XLH series CH stood for Competition Hot actual Title was to be Competition High-compression. 1977 was the last year of the XLCH. I also have a customized 77XLCH and have often dreamt of an electric start, But every year in the spring after a few kicks I forget about it and ride. Hope this helps. Chrome side up. Den |
