ask if the engine is stock. see if it was bored or stroked. if it was ask to see a sales receit. see for any obvious flaws. the bikes back then were solid mounted so dont freak out if some of the bolts vibrate loose, invest in red loctite. see if any thing was replaced at all.
keep riding.
