Yeah, Daren, I know the XLH model (electric start, with protruding oil tank) has an oil filter. But, mine is a ´77 XLCH (kick start only, with in-line oil tank). The XLCH has no oil filter of any kind. So, I´m just going to change the oil more often. That way, shouldn´t have to use kerosene to flush tank. I´m going to pour in some cheaper oil in tank, then drain, when I´m changing the oil. Craig |
