Need Help Changing Oil in my ´77 XLCH

Can anyone help me with a detailed description of the process required to change the engine oil in my ´77 XLCH? Also, why not run automotive (Castrol 20W/50) oil in this bike? Do you have to run a harley oil filter? Where is the oil drain plug??? Thanks
