I have a 1975 sportster xlh all original. I know because i bought it in 1975. I as recentley looking i the owners manual and realized it had a 1976 seat, liscense plate, and an oil tank from before 1975 probabley 1974. Also the pinstripes are from 1975 and mufflers are from 1975. I wonder if this was during the transition of Harley to Amf or just a manufactures defect? any input would be great thanks
