I just bought a 74 XLCH, this summer. It is a strong running bike, but I have a problem with the starter hanging up. I have to disconnect the battery to get it to disengage. It only seems to do this if the battery charge is low. I have replaced the solenoid and the generator (the old 1 was worn out). Is there something I can do to eliminate this problem or should I just learn to live with it?
