I have a 72 sportster of course, it is new to me and I am having problems with, well something. I have gotten it to start a few times, but the points just went totally bad on me. So I replaced them with brand new points and condensor. Ok well i went to set the static timing and points gap, well I did what I was susposed to and jacked it up, put it in 5th gear, took out the observation plug, spark plugs, and points cover, well as I was turning the wheel, nothing happened! I know the points were susposed to open, by the cam or \
