I have a 83 HD XLH 1000, in the process of rebuilding this bike currently. However looking at the speedometer/tachometer placement I do not believe it is in it´s correct placement. It sits on top of the handlebar bracket & looks to be after market. I am looking for a photo of what the original looks like & it´s correct placement.
