Bought it in a neglected condition in 1995 and it was only running on one cylinder. BMW in Pretoria South Africa sorted the engine out and soon it was pulling like a freight train. Had the paintwork re-done and suddenly it was a work of art again. Classic style boxer and with a lot more grunt than you would expect from an ageing but proven design. Still wish I did not sell it.
