I am a new 2006 Sportster 883 Custom owner. It is the most HD I could afford. I use my bike for my to/from work commute (45 miles round trip). What performance enhancements that will give me a good rate of return.

Also, I want to learn of others experiences with the 883 for interstate travel. I am comfortable at 60-70 mph but prefer 55-60 mph. Except for the I-90 and sections of I-5 in the Pacific NW, most posted speeds are 50-60 mph. I am nervous about crusing at 70mph for its effect on the bike. Any experiences?
