OWNER´S USER MANUAL EDUCATES A NEW OWNER/USER ON THE VARIOUS PARTS AND IT´S USES, AND PERIODICAL SERVICE MAINTENANCE. NEVERTHELESS, PREVIOUSLY OWNED BIKES SOMETIMES DO COME WITH OWNER´S MANUAL AND A SPARE SET OF IGNITION KEYS. HOWEVER, IF YOU CAN DO THE FOLLOWING EVERY WEEK, YOUR BIKE´S QUALITY AND LIFE WILL GO A LONG WAY. 1. PURCHASE THE SOFT YELLOW WIPING CLOTH THAT YOU WILL FIND IN A TECHNICAL STORE 2. PURCHASE A BRICK SIZE SPONGE FROM A HARDWARE SHOP 3. PURCHASE A SMALL 5 LTR. BUCKET 4. PURCHASE WATERPROOF GOOD QUALITY REXINE HEAVY DUTY BIKE COVER SUITABLE FOR YOUR BIKE. 5. EVERY EVENING, AFTER YOU ARE DONE FOR THE DAY, LET THE BIKE COOL DOWN BEFORE YOU DRY WIPE FROM FRONT WHEEL TO REAR WHEEL AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. 6. THEREAFTER COVER YOUR BIKE TO AVOID DIRT, BIRD %!¤, SOMEONE SCRATCHING YOUR BIKE, ETC. WEEKLY INSPECTION: 1. USE A MEDIUM SIZE NOSE PLIER AND UNSCREW THE ENGINE OIL DIP STICK - SOME BAJAJ BIKES DO NOT SUPPLY DIP STICK. 2. CHECK THE LEVEL OF ENGINE OIL - SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON THE UPPER MARK 3. CHECK THE VISCOSITY OF THE ENGINE OIL - BLACK AND NOT GREASY INDICATES ENGINE OIL CHANGE REQUIRED. 4. APPLY AND CHECK THE FRONT BRAKE BY MANUALLY MOVING THE BIKE IN THE FRONT 5. APPLY AND CHECK THE REAR BRAKE BY MANUALLY MOVING THE BIKE IN THE FRONT 6. PUT THE BLINKERS OR TURN SIGNAL ON AND CHECK FOR THE FUNCTIONALITY 6. PUT THE HEAD LIGHT ON AND CHECK FOR IT´S FUNCTIONALITY 7. DEPRESS THE FOOT BRAKE AND AS WELL THE HAND BRAKE AND CHECK FOR THE TAIL BRAKE LIGHT 8. CHECK THE FUEL LEVEL OR PETROL SUFFICIENCY FOR YOUR NEXT WEEK´S RIDE 9. KEEP YOUR BIKE ALWAYS IN A SHADED AREA OR PLACE AND NEVER UNDERNEATH A TREE 10. ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET NOT TO PLEASE A COP BUT TO SAVE A BRAIN HEMMOERAGE IN CASE OF A FALL OR SHOULD SOME IDIOT BUMPS YOU OFF YOUR BIKE FROM THE REAR |
