78 cb400 no lights -- shorts out

I bought this bike lask year & have ridden it about 400 miles. I rebuilt carbs, new oil in air cleaner, worked on electrical problems.

I love the bike & know that there are issues to fix but I can´t keep the lights up. Late last year, the headlight went out. I let it go until this year. I read about cutting the old bulb out & putting in a new one. I did this but I had problems with a short somewhere. As I searched for it, I tested the horn which did its thing before it quit.

The bike still started. I could get the tail lights to work but not the headlights. I bought new fuses, got frustrated & came back several days later. Everything worked. I rode it around a couple blocks & no problems so I go ready for a longer ride. I made it less than 3 miles when all the lights were out but the bike kept running.

I parked it again & took a break. This is where I am at. I did go through a bunch of fuses last year but everything ran as long as I replaced the fuses.

None of the fuses appear \
