Just bought a type 2 from a guy that said it ran great. It ran pretty good on the way home. After that, nothing but problems. Rather than a dry crankcase, holes in the tank, spedo cable attached by electrical tape, and leaking MC, it has power problems. It sputters a lot when first started. when cold, if i get the rpms up it will take off. but afterwards, that doesnt even work. a moped could beat me off the line! Found it was missing one of the needles that are exposed on bottom of carb. Got the part, but no change. Got a fuel filter and there was junk in the tank(cleaned it). Seller told me he took the carbs apart and cleaned them up. Also backfires. Not bad, but worth mentioning. Its my first bike and cant afford to take it to the shop. HELP!!!
