Y´know,I just re-read this and I think you meant 60 miles to the tankful right? That would be terrible mileage. Also, in 5th gear mine runs about 1000rpm for every 10mph, so I run 5000rpm at 50mph. I don´t know if that´s right. If mine is right, then it sounds like you have a slipping clutch, which would lower your mileage. Check the adjustments and change the oil, see the oil and shifting questions on this forum. Could also be that your tach or speedo are off (if mine isn´t!). |
