I can only speak for mine, but it´s very sensitive to how much oil is added. For an oil and filter change, it´s only about 2 1/2 quarts. Make sure it´s not one bit overfilled. Also be sure to use no heavier than 10w-40, motorcycle or Diesel engine oil only. The starter is right at the front of the engine. Remove, clean and reattach all electrical connnections. At this point, check the spark plugs, make sure they are both clean and you get a nice spark. Try adding back only 1 quart and see if it starts (don´t run it!), then add about 1/2 quart, try again, then add oil a little at a time till it´s just barely at the full mark with the bike on the center stand. Let us know what happens! |
