I have recently purchased a 1978 Goldwing that I am having the time of my life on. I bought the bike thinking that I could prove to my wife that I could handle a motorcycle and then buy me a new bike, plus it had been 15 years since I had riden, but I find myself wanting to restore this classic and keep riding it. After all that, my question is: has anyone found a good way to clean the oxidation from the valve covers and timing belt covers. I think that they will polish out nice if I could just get them clean. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
