Thank you Mike for responding to my message. The bike is not "completely in pieces. My husband took most of the chrome off and had it rechromed. The engine, carb, gas tank etc. are all still on the frame. I do think the gas tank is rusted (interior) so it will definately have to be replaced. We pulled the plugs today and shot some oil in there. It is now in 5th gear and we are hoping to "loosen" what ever is stuck. Can you tell me where we can find parts for this bike? A friend said he did not think it would be possible, Honda does not make them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again. Mary Bernard |
