fuel in oil

I have recently gotten a 1978 GW 1000 wityh 33k miles on it. After the basic tune up it starts up fine, although cold blooded. Three things with the bike I could use help with though. It leaves an oil spot on the right hand side from what appears to be n air box vent. It also stumbles around 6k rpm, but not all the time. Also there smells to be fuel in the oil. This sat up for a while, so I expected a rough start and put new fuel and Seafoam in the tank, but it does not seem to have worked. Any suggestions?
